Senior Systems Administrator
Primary job role
- Senior System Administrator responsibilities include supervising our Operations team, monitoring system performance, and configuring new software and hardware. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems.
Main duties/responsibilities
- Deliver 99% uptime SLA on,
- Computer Hardware and Software,
- Network infra including LAN, WAN and switching equipment
- Core ICT infrastructure services.
- Voice infrastructure.
- Servers, storage, and VMware infrastructure
- Surveillance, Access control and meeting room Audio/Video infrastructure.
- Administrate on,
- SharePoint Online file server and Local File Server.
- AD and Microsoft O365 cloud services.
- MS Teams and video conferencing infra.
- Cisco Call manager with 600 Handsets.
- Endpoint security.
- Physical Servers, Storage and VM cloud infrastructure.
- Sever/system Backups according to the Backup policy.
- Network infrastructure and IT security
- First level Support for line of business applications.
- First level Support for line of business applications.
- ICT Equipment inventory management according to the organization policy framework.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process related system Access, Assets, Backups, InfoSec, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance on periodic ICT audits.
- Active contribution on ICT Projects, KPI, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Educate users on Information security threats, policy framework, implement SOP‘s.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and approvals in user ID creation /deletion, file server access permission and maintain authorization matrix logs according to the information security framework
Experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
Technical knowledge
- Experience more than 500 node local area Network and its related switching. In addition, WAN management, traffic Optimization and Cisco product experience.
- Good knowledge in ITIL standards.
- Experience in Cisco Call manager and conferencing infrastructure.
- Good knowledge in VMware and server management.
- First level support experience in reputed ERP or similar Application system.
- Experience in Microsoft products such as windows OS. O365, Online SharePoint, MS Teams.
