Manager – Delivery Excellence & Compliance
Primary job role
The ‘Manager – Delivery Excellence and Compliance’ will drive Fortude’s delivery excellence, compliance initiatives, and CMMI journey. The individual will also play a change agent role in transforming Fortude’s delivery engine to meet the highest industry standards.
Main duties/responsibilities
- Investigate, analyze, communicate, and document gap analysis of current processes and templates.
- Design processes and ensure all processes are documented as SOPs with relevant process maps.
- Proactively identify opportunities and provide alternatives or solutions for process improvement.
- Use value stream mapping to identify value-adding and non-value-adding (VA/NVAs) processes and make improvements.
- Maintain performance and track measures for projects and project management office (PMO) initiatives.
- Analyze risks and lessons learned and provide insights into risks, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Define an audit framework to ensure process adherence and compliance.
- Convey feedback from project teams and PMO to respective global leadership teams to build long-term, scalable processes.
- Work closely with delivery, project management and other cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
- Provide guidance and training on compliance requirements and processes.
Experience
- 10+ years of industry experience in software development and project management.
- 5+ years of experience developing, assisting or implementing process improvements and audits.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge in agile methodologies and practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Exposure and experience managing and overseeing activities related to CMMI, ISO 9001/27001, ITIL process frameworks
- Knowledge in TQM methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Two or more of the following project management or agile certifications:
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist
- One or more of the following CMMI certifications:
- CMMI Associate
- CMMI Professional
