The goal of the ‘Business Development Manager’ is to meet the software products and services revenue targets for the assigned territory or territories by identifying and mining new customers, developing new relationships with customers, prospects and partners and where required upselling to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales for Fortude’s software products and services streams for new leads and prospects.
  • Drive the lead creation and lead qualification process with the marketing and sales team.
  • Grow new sales revenue by identifying, qualifying and converting leads to opportunities and make cold calls when required.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, prospects and partner networks that can be leveraged to generate leads, contacts and maintain them in the CRM system –
  • Convert opportunities to closed sales by leveraging all available resources and teams for the assigned territories for products & services
  • Upsell to existing customers when required.
  • Coordinate with the Fortude pre-sales team for preparing proposals, presentations, demos, negotiating contracts and close sales.
  • Work with the marketing and sales team to create and execute marketing, sales, and lead generation campaigns and follow up all related activities and close sales.
  • Prospect, acquire, enable and develop great partnerships for Fortude’s products and services.


  • College or university degree. A degree in IT and or business administration is preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years work experience; with 5+ years’ experience selling software solutions and services.
  • Experience in international sales and managing international customers and partners.
  • Sound understanding of IT systems, software solutions, services, and
  • Experience selling one or more of the following will be an added benefit:
    • Business intelligence solutions
    • Software development services
    • Outsourcing services or application support services
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with various levels of management and non-management.
  • Proven ability to effectively work with key client executives along with setting appropriate expectations.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territories if required.
  • Proven ability in working in a highly competitive and demanding sales environment.

Primary Job Role

  • Provide functional support for M3 Manufacturing module implementations
  • Engage in training, scenario testing, business analysis & process mapping, data validation
  • Lead, manage and participate in day-to-day client operations, enhancements, projects implementations and post go-live support
  • Partner with businesses in assessing, defining and documentation of requirements and drive the development of business cases and system solutions
  • Promote process improvement and innovation to drive business process optimization
  • Perform and document impact analysis and estimates for change requests

Primary Job Role:

As a BI Support Engineer, you will act as a point of contact for Fortude’s Application Support customers. The primary objective of the role is to provide first-time resolutions. Upon receipt of an incident from the customer, you will perform initial diagnosis, followed up by detailed troubleshooting. If resolving the issue is beyond your scope, you will escalate it to the 2nd line specialist teams for further investigation. Throughout this process you will remain the single point of contact with the customer and maintain ownership of the incident until resolution. You will provide timely updates and ensure the incidents are prioritized appropriately.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1 and L2 support to clients adhering to the set SLAs
  • Maintain communication with customers until issue resolution
  • Take ownership of issues and resolve them independently
  • Work as part of delivery teams in multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Train internal staff and external clients on products and technologies
  • Record troubleshooting and problem resolution steps

Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification


  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant field
  • Experience in handling global clients

Technical Competencies

  • Moderate understanding and experience in writing T-SQL queries
  • Basic understanding and experience in Microsoft technologies and applications such as Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS
  • Hands-on experience in ETL design and development, data modeling, OLAP database design and development

Behavioral Competencies

  • Ability to work according to US working hours
  • Ability to work on shifts and be on-call during weekends if required
  • Should be very good at verbal and written communication
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide recommend resolutions clearly
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Planning and execution skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Job Summary
Fortude is looking for a talented, self-driven BI engineer who has a passion for solving problems, to join our team. You will get to build solutions as a full-time consultant with a highly dedicated, dynamic team. You will be involved in designing, developing, implementing and supporting complex BI solutions across multiple geographies for various business domains.

The role will be based in Australia.

What we expect
• Minimum 6+ years of experience building business intelligence solutions or data warehousing solutions encompassing experience in the following:
o Designing and developing data warehouses, data integration, data modeling, and business data visualization solutions
o Experience with at least one leading BI platform from vendors such as Infor, Microsoft, Tableau, SAP, MicroStrategy, Qlik, or an equivalent platform
o Experience in R, Python or Machine Learning will be an added advantage
o Experience with Tabular data modeling and cloud-based BI development will be an advantage
o Experience in the healthcare, finance or manufacturing domains will be an added advantage
o Ability to work with different BI tools and platforms
o Ability to work alongside US time zone when required
